Looking back at 2007
It is time to take stock for the year 2007.
I was chatting with one of the brother about 2007 while serving 1st and 2nd service. The words that I came out from me were 'This wasn't a good year for me' as there are more downs than up. Being a believer, we should count our blessings. At times, it is so easy for us to focus on the bad that happened.
This brother was sharing with me. I should rephrase it as 'I had a challenging year in 2007' to those of you who knew what I have went through - Ministry, Career and Relationship. Just want to take this time to thank each and every one of you that took the journey with me.
One thing I know, whatever that may have happened. God is preparing me for a greater harvest. I am definitely looking forward to Year 2008, not because it is a brand new year. But in it, I believe in greater promises that it will come to pass. Number 8 in the bible speaks of a new beginning. Let the world be envious of the Blessings of God in my life. Daddy, you know what your beloved child have in his heart for this coming year. Bring it to PASS. =)
Psalm 108 (Assurance of God's Victory over Enemies)
O GOD, my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
Awake, lute and harp!I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise You, O LORD, among the peoples,
And I will sing praises to You among the nations.
For Your mercy is great above the heavens,
And Your truth reaches to the clouds.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens,
And Your glory above all the earth;
That Your beloved may be delivered,
Save with Your right hand, and hear me.
God has spoken in His holiness:"I will rejoice;I will divide ShechemAnd measure out the Valley of Succoth.
Gilead is Mine; Manasseh is Mine;Ephraim also is the helmet for My head;Judah is My lawgiver.
Moab is My washpot;Over Edom I will cast My shoe;Over Philistia I will triumph."
Who will bring me into the strong city?Who will lead me to Edom?
Is it not You, O God, who cast us off?And You, O God, who did not go out with our armies?
Give us help from trouble,For the help of man is useless.
Through God we will do valiantly,For it is He who shall tread down our enemies.
